#FauxFilter Foundation: Speaking of pigmented products, this foundation really packs a punch in terms of the coverage it gives. I have very dry skin and hate anything that is too cakey on my under eye area as that is just ageing but I have found that this concealer doesn't crease or sink into fine lines and it also doesn't fade over time. The finish is described as luminous matte, which I agree with - it looks pretty natural - neither flat nor shimmery despite containing light-reflecting spheres. If you need more product, it can be layered well as long as you don't apply too much each time ( I cringe when I see so many Instagram videos with huge amounts of concealer as I don't think you need to apply half the bottle to achieve full coverage - you're just using the wrong concealer!). With this concealer, I find that you need to apply only a small amount as it is very pigmented, and work one eye at a time rather than a dab under both as it sets quickly. I love the tube packaging and the metal head applicator feels so cooling on the under eye area. Overachiever Concealer: Available in 20 shades, this is a full coverage concealer but it doesn't have that heavy and drying feeling on the skin that so many full coverage concealers do. A review of the New Nude Palette will be coming to the blog soon so keep your eyes peeled for that! The packaging of all of her palettes is slimline but sturdy cardboard and they all have a mirror but no brush, which I personally prefer as I rarely use the brushes that come with palettes! With three large palettes and ten mini Obsessions palette, there is something to suit all tastes/colour preferences. I have read mixed reviews on the mini palettes in terms of pigmentation but it certainly isn't a problem that I have experienced. I only have one - Warm Brown Obsessions, which for me is a great, basic everyday palette as it has all of the warm tones that I love, particularly at this time of year, and they are all matte apart from one foiled shadow. Of course, not everyone wants or needs to spend £56 on an eyeshadow palette, so her mini Obsessions palettes are a great alternative at £25 for 9 eyeshadows. I have reviews of the Desert Dusk here and the Rose Gold Remastered here. I find that because her shadows are so easy to work with, they are suitable for both beginners and pros so if you are in the market for a high end palette, I highly recommend checking these out. I know that a lot of people were miffed that the Rose Gold palette was reformulated and re-released (and maybe I would be too if I had bought the original one), but Huda Beauty is a relatively new brand and Huda is listening to feedback and learning as she goes. The mattes are slightly less buttery but still apply and blend really well. I am a huge fan of Huda's shadows, in general - the glitter shade in the Desert Dusk palette was a let down but the duo-chromes and shimmers are sublime in terms of texture - pigmented, buttery-soft, easy to blend and long-lasting. Eyeshadow palettes: I have all three of her large palettes: Desert Dusk, Rose Gold Remastered and The New Nude and one mini palette: Warm Brown Obsessions.
